What Slacker is
Slacker is a digital sag scale made by Motool. It sticks to the axle with a strong magnet, clips a retractable cable to the bike and reads how far the suspension compresses, live, while you sit on the bike.
The reading shows on a wireless remote strapped to the bars, or in the free Slacker Virtual Remote app on your phone. That is the point of it: you can set sag on your own, with no helper holding a tape measure.

Why sag matters on a motocross bike
Sag sets where the bike sits in its stroke. Get it wrong and the bike steers badly, the rear packs down in whoops, or the front pushes in corners. Most riders set it once in the spring and forget it, even though it changes with gear, body weight, a new spring or a revalve.
Checking sag before a race weekend takes a couple of minutes with Slacker. After a suspension change, set it, race, then look at your results on TrackMyMoto to see whether the change paid off.
Who it suits
